Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 22nd January, 2016.

I, ALAN KELLY, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 8 of the Climate Action and Low Carbon Development Act 2015 (No. 46 of 2015), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Climate Action and Low Carbon Development Act 2015 (Establishment Day) Order 2016.

2. The day appointed as the establishment day for the purposes of the Climate Action and Low Carbon Development Act 2015 (No. 46 of 2015) is 18 January 2016.

This Order establishes, on 18 January 2016, the Climate Change Advisory Council to perform the functions assigned to it under the Climate Action and Low Carbon Development Act 2015 .
