S.I. No. 38/2016 - Housing Assistance Payment (Section 50) Regulations 2016.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 2nd February, 2016.

I, ALAN KELLY, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 and 50 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 21 of 2014), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Housing Assistance Payment (Section 50) Regulations 2016.

2. Part 4 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 (No. 21 of 2014) shall be applied in respect of all classes of qualified households with effect from 1 February 2016, by Galway City Council.

Continuing the phased introduction of the Housing Assistance Payment scheme under the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014 , these Regulations provide that Part 4 of that Act will be applied in respect of all classes of qualified household by Galway City Council, from 1 February 2016.
