Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 9th August, 2016.

I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 (3) of the Proceeds of Crime (Amendment) Act 2016 (No. 8 of 2016), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Proceeds of Crime (Amendment) Act 2016 (Commencement) Order 2016.

2. The 12th of August 2016 is appointed as the day on which the Proceeds of Crime (Amendment) Act 2016 (No. 8 of 2016) shall come into operation.
