S.I. No. 509/2016 - Energy Act 2016 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2016.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 7th October, 2016.

I, DENIS NAUGHTEN, Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Energy Act 2016 (No. 12 of 2016), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Energy Act 2016 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2016.

2. The 7th day of October 2016 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Energy Act 2016 (No. 12 of 2016) come into operation:

(a) sections 1 and 2;

(b) sections 11 and 18;

(c) Part 7;

(d) sections 27 and 28;

(e) Part 9.
