Short title, commencement and cessation of operation of Act

6. (1) This Act may be cited as the Health (Amendment) Act 2020.

(2) This Act shall come into operation on the day immediately following its passing.

(3) This Act shall remain in operation until 9 June 2021 unless a resolution approving the continuation in operation of this Act is passed by each House of the Oireachtas before that date and, if such resolutions are passed, this Act shall continue in operation until such date as is specified in those resolutions.
