124. (1) In this Part— | ||
“Council Regulation” means Council Regulation (EC) No. 2201/2003 of 27 November 200322 concerning jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in matrimonial matters and the matters of parental responsibility, repealing Regulation (EC) No. 1347/2000, as amended by Council Regulation (EC) No. 2116/2004 of 2 December 200423 amending Regulation (EC) No. 2201/2003 concerning jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in matrimonial matters and the matters of parental responsibility, repealing Regulation (EC) No. 1347/2000, as regards treaties with the Holy See; | ||
“relevant jurisdiction” means— | ||
(a) England and Wales, | ||
(b) Scotland, | ||
(c) Northern Ireland, or | ||
(d) Gibraltar. | ||
(2) Section 5 of the Domicile and Recognition of Foreign Divorces Act 1986 shall not apply to a divorce to which section 125 or 126 applies. | ||
