The Minister for Health, in the exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 31B of the Health Act 1947 (No. 28 of 1947), having regard to the matters specified in section 31A(2) of that Act and to the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of the Department of Health and having consulted with the Minister for Justice and Equality, the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, hereby orders as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Health Act 1947 (Affected Areas) Order 2020. | ||
2. It is hereby declared that the State (being every area or region thereof) is an area where there is known or thought to be sustained human transmission of Covid-19. | ||
