WHEREAS the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government has, after consultation with the Minister for Health and with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, made a request under subsection (1) of section 4 of the Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (Covid-19) Act 2020 (No. 2 of 2020); | ||
AND WHEREAS the Government is satisfied that, having regard to the matters specified in paragraphs (i), (ii) and (iii) of the said subsection (1), the making of the following order is in the public interest; | ||
NOW the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 4 of the Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (Covid-19) Act 2020 (No. 2 of 2020), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (Covid-19) Act 2020 (Section 4) Order 2020. | ||
2. The emergency period is extended for such period as expires on 20 July 2020. | ||

The Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (Covid-19) Act 2020 (Section 4) Order 2020 (S.I. No. 224 of 2020) extends the emergency period defined in section 3 of Part 2 of the Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (Covid-19) Act 2020 (No. 2 of 2020) to expire on 20 July 2020. |
