S.I. No. 333/2021 - Control of Fishing for Salmon (Amendment) Order 2021

I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 29 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act 1962 (No. 31 of 1962) and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ) (as adapted by the Communications, Climate Action and Environment (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 373 of 2020 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Fishing for Salmon (Amendment) Order 2021.

2. The Control of Fishing for Salmon Order ( S.I. no 102 of 2021 ) is amended by the substitution of the following Schedule for Schedule 1:

This Order amends the Control of Fishing for Salmon Order 2021 ( S.I. No. 102 of 2021 ) by substitution of a new Schedule for Schedule 1. The effect of this amendment is to increase the number of District Draft Net Licences available in the Letterkenny District from 2 to 3.
