I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Gas (Amendment) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (No.11 of 2024), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Gas (Amendment) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2024. | ||
2. In this Order, “Act of 2024” means the Gas (Amendment) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (No. 11 of 2024). | ||
3. The 13th day of May 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Act of 2024 shall come into operation: | ||
(a) section 1; | ||
(b) section 2; | ||
(c) section 5; | ||
(d) section 6; | ||
(e) Part 4. | ||
4. The 1st day of June 2024 is appointed as the day on which the Act of 2024, in so far as it is not already in operation, shall come into operation. | ||
