Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 17th May, 2024.

I, HELEN MCENTEE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024 (No. 1 of 2024), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2024.

2. The 14th day of May 2024 is appointed as the day on which section 302 (b) of the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024 (No. 1 of 2024) shall come into operation.
