S.I. No. 408/2024 - Digital Services (Levy) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2024

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 16th August, 2024.

I, PETER BURKE, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Digital Services (Levy) Act 2024 (No. 26 of 2024), following consultation with the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Digital Services (Levy) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2024.

2. The 2nd day of September 2024 is appointed as the day on which the Digital Services (Levy) Act 2024 (No. 26 of 2024) shall come into operation.
