S.I. No. 475/2024 - Credit Union (Amendment) Act 2023 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) (No. 2) Order 2024

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 24th September, 2024.

I, JACK CHAMBERS, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(2) of the Credit Union (Amendment) Act 2023 (No. 34 of 2023), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Credit Union (Amendment) Act 2023 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) (No. 2) Order 2024.

2. The 30th day of September 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Credit Union (Amendment) Act 2023 (No. 34 of 2023) shall come into operation:

(a) paragraphs (a) and (b) of section 18;

(b) section 26;

(c) section 29.
