I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, Minister for Defence, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Defence (Amendment) Act 2024 (No. 25 of 2024), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Defence (Amendment) Act 2024 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2024. | ||
2. The 6th day of November 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Defence (Amendment) Act 2024 (No. 25 of 2024) shall come into operation: | ||
(a) section 5; | ||
(b) section 13; | ||
(c) section 16; | ||
(d) section 19; | ||
(e) section 21; | ||
(f) section 22; | ||
(g) section 23. | ||
