S.I. No. 615/2024 - Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023 (Commencement) (No. 4) Order 2024

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 8th November, 2024.

I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023 (No. 16 of 2023), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023 (Commencement) (No. 4) Order 2024.

2. The 31st day of March 2025 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of section 5 of the Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023 (No. 16 of 2023) shall come into operation:

(a) paragraph (l), insofar as it is not already in operation, and

(b) paragraph (o), insofar as it relates to paragraph (f) of subsection (2) of section 78A.
