S.I. No. 616/2024 - Road Traffic Act 2024 (Commencement) (No. 5) Order 2024

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 8th November, 2024.

I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Road Traffic Act 2024 (No. 10 of 2024), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 2024 (Commencement) (No. 5) Order 2024.

2. The 7th day of February 2025 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Road Traffic Act 2024 (No. 10 of 2024) shall come into operation:

(a) paragraphs (a) and (b) of section 5,

(b) section 7, and

(c) paragraph (c) of section 10.
