I, JAMES LAWLESS, Minister of State at the Department of Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by
section 4
of the
Road Safety Authority (Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness) Act 2012
(No. 16 of 2012) (as adapted by the Transport, Tourism and Sport (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 (
S.I. No. 351 of 2020
)), and the Transport (Delegation Of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2024 (
S.I. No. 354 of 2024
), hereby make the following regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness (Vehicle Testing) (Amendment) Regulations 2024.
|
| |
(2) These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2025.
|
| |
2. The Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness (Vehicle Testing) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2023 (
S.I. No. 513 of 2023
) are revoked.

3. The Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness (Vehicle Testing) (No. 2) Regulations 2013 (
S.I. No. 347 of 2013
) are amended by substituting for Schedules 1, 2 and 3 the following:
