The Minister for Justice, HELEN MCENTEE, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 1 (2) of the Criminal Justice (Hate Offences) Act 2024 (No. 41 of 2024), hereby orders as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Hate Offences) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2024. | ||
2. The 31st day of December 2024 is appointed as the day on which the Criminal Justice (Hate Offences) Act 2024 (No. 41 of 2024) shall come into operation. | ||
