S.I. No. 738/2024 - Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2024

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 3rd January, 2025.

I, STEPHEN DONNELLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 11 (4) of the Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2024 (No. 47 of 2024), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2024.

2. The 2nd day of February 2026 is appointed as the day on which section 10 of the Public Health (Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2024 (No. 47 of 2024) shall come into operation.
