S.I. No. 10/2025 - Charities (Amendment) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2025

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 24th January, 2025.

The Minister for Rural and Community Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 1 (2) of the Charities (Amendment) Act 2024 (No. 21 of 2024), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Charities (Amendment) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2025.

2. The 27th day of January 2025 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Charities (Amendment) Act 2024 (No. 21 of 2024) shall come into operation:

(a) Part 1;

(b) sections 3, 5, 6, 20, 31, 33, 36 37, 39 and 40.
