S.I. No. 68/2025 - Immigration Act 2004 (Visas) (Amendment) Order 2025

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 7th March, 2025.

I, JIM O’CALLAGHAN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 17 of the Immigration Act 2004 (No. 1 of 2004) (as adapted by the Justice and Equality (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 452 of 2020 )), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Immigration Act 2004 (Visas) (Amendment) Order 2025.

(2) This Order comes into operation on 10 March 2025.

2. The Immigration Act 2004 (Visas) Order ( S.I. No. 473 of 2014 ) is amended –

(a) in Schedule 1, by the deletion of “Eswatini”, “Lesotho”, and “Nauru”.

and

(b) in Schedule 5, by the insertion of –

(i) “Eswatini” after “Eritrea”,

(ii) “Lesotho” after “Lebanon”, and

(iii) “Nauru” after “Moldova”.
