I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, Taoiseach, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 25 (1) of the Statistics Act 1993 (No. 21 of 1993) and for the purpose of giving further effect to Regulation (EC) No. 1099/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 20081 , as amended by Commission Regulation (EU) No. 844/2010 of 20 September 20102 , Commission Regulation (EU) No. 147/2013 of 13 February 20133 , Commission Regulation (EU) No. 431/2014 of 24 April 20144 , Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/2010 of 9 November 20175 , Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/2146 of 26 November 20196 , Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/132 of 28 January 20227 and Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/264 of 17 January 20248 , in so far as it relates to Annex B thereto, hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Statistics (Business Energy Use Survey) (Amendment) Order 2025. | ||
2. The Statistics (Business Energy Use Survey) Order 2024 ( S.I. No. 15 of 2024 ) is amended — | ||
(a) in Article 2(1), in the definition of “Regulation”, by the substitution of “, Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/132 of 28 January 20227 and Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/264 of 17 January 20248 ” for “, and Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/132 of 28 January 20227 ”, | ||
(b) by the substitution of the following Article for Article 3: | ||
“3. This Order applies to a person who, or an undertaking that, is classified for statistical purposes under any section of NACE Rev. 2.1 set out in Annex I to Regulation (EC) No. 1893/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 December 20069 , as amended by Regulation (EC) No. 295/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 200810 , Regulation (EU) No. 70/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 January 201211 , Regulation (EU) 2019/1243 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 201912 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/137 of 10 October 202213 .”, and | ||
(c) in Article 4, by the substitution of “from 2025 to 2027” for “from 2023 to 2027”. | ||
