Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 27th January, 2026.

I, JIM O’CALLAGHAN, Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (4) of the Courts and Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2023 (No. 18 of 2023) (as adapted by the Justice (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 242 of 2025 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Courts and Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2023 (Sections 35 and 37) (Commencement) Order 2026.

2. The 1st day of February 2026 is appointed as the day on which sections 35 and 37 of the Courts and Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2023 (No. 18 of 2023) shall come into operation.
