Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 12th June, 2026.

I, PETER BURKE, Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Employment (Contractual Retirement Ages) Act 2025 (No. 16 of 2025), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Employment (Contractual Retirement Ages) Act 2025 (Commencement) Order 2026.

2. The 29th day of June 2026 is appointed as the day on which the Employment (Contractual Retirement Ages) Act 2025 (No. 16 of 2025) comes into operation.
