Oath to be taken by every commissioner.

XIII. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That no person shall be capable of acting as a commissioner in the execution of this act, unless he shall take and subscribe the following path or affirmation, which the mayor of Drogheda for the time being is hereby empowered to administer.

I A. B. do solemnly promise and swear, that I will faithfully and impartially, according to the best of my skill and knowledge, execute the several powers and trusts committed to me, in and by an act of parliament now in force in this kingdom, entitled, An act for improving the port and harbour of Drogheda, and the better regulation of the police of said town, without favour or affection, prejudice or malice.
