Court Fees.

Fixing and collection of fees in High Court and Court of Appeal.

84. The Lord Chancellor, with the advice and consent of the other Presidents of the Divisions of the High Court, or any one of them, and with the concurrence of the Treasury, may, by order, fix the fees and percentages to be taken in the High Court of Justice or in the Court of Appeal, or any office connected therewith, or by any officer of those Courts or the Lord Chancellor or other Judge of those Courts, which officer is paid wholly or partly out of public moneys, and may from time to time by order increase reduce or abolish all or any of such fees and percentages, and appoint new fees and percentages to be taken in the said Courts or offices or any of them, or by any such officer as aforesaid.

(3.) The Treasury, with the concurrence of the Lord Chancellor, may from time to time make such rules as may seem fit for publishing the amount of the fees

An order under this section may abolish any existing fees and percentages which may be taken in the said courts or offices or any of them, or by the said officers or any of them, but subject to the provisions of any order made in pursuance of this section, the existing fees and percentages shall continue to be taken and accounted for in the existing manner. All orders made in pursuance of this section shall be laid before each House of Parliament within such time and shall be subject to be annulled in such manner as is in this Act provided.
