AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (FRESH MEAT) (BEEF, PORK AND MUTTON) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1939.

WHEREAS by virtue of Section 27 of the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 (No. 10 of 1930), the Minister for Agriculture is empowered by order to make regulations in relation to the matters referred to in the said section as being the subject of regulations thereunder, and the said Minister in exercise of (amongst other powers) the powers conferred on him by the said section made the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) (Beef, Pork and Mutton) Regulations, 1930 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 62 of 1930) :

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 27 of the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 (No. 10 of 1930), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order and make the following Regulations, that is to say :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) (Beef, Pork and Mutton) (Amendment) Regulations, 1939.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. Paragraph (1) of Regulation 17 of the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) (Beef, Pork and Mutton) Regulations, 1930 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 62 of 1930) is hereby amended by the insertion therein of the following new sub-paragraph in lieu of sub-paragraph (i) thereof, and the said paragraph shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say :—

" (i) the mark shall be of a design conforming in all respects (including dimensions) with the following pattern :—

"
