CORK SANATORIA BOARD ORDER, 1953.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 45 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953), hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Cork Sanatoria Board Order, 1953.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1954.

3. The body established by the Cork Sanatorium (Joint Committee of Management) Order, 1948, shall henceforth be known as the Cork Sanatoria Board.

4. The provisions of the Health Acts, 1947 and 1953, and of the Regulations made thereunder which are specified in the Schedule to this Order shall, to the extent therein specified, apply to the Cork Sanatoria Board.

5. The Cork Sanatoria Board shall consist of four members of the Council of the County Borough of Cork appointed by the said Council and sixteen members of the Council of the County of Cork appointed by the said Council.

6. Article 5 of the Cork Sanatorium (Joint Committee of Management) Order, 1948, is hereby revoked.
