S.I. No. 80/2011 - Public Service Pension Rights Order 2011.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 1st March, 2011.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Finance in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subparagraph (ii) (inserted by section 8 (b) of the Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interest Act 2010 (No. 38 of 2010)) of section 3 (1)(b) of the Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (No. 2) Act 2009 (No. 41 of 2009) and having taken into account such legal, superannuation and personnel management issues affecting public service bodies and having consulted the persons and bodies, as I consider appropriate, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Service Pension Rights Order 2011.

2. The later date specified for the purposes of subparagraph (ii) (inserted by section 8 (b) of the Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interest Act 2010 (No. 38 of 2010)) of section 3 (1)(b) of the Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (No. 2) Act 2009 (No. 41 of 2009) is 29 February 2012.

3. The Public Service Pension Rights Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 302 of 2010 ) is revoked.
