I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Decision 2008/644/EC of 25 July 20081 , hereby make the following Regulations— | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Phytosanitary Measures) (Amendment) Regulations 2012. | ||
2. The European Communities (Phytosanitary Measures) Regulations 2007 ( S.I. No. 202 of 2007 ) are amended in Regulation 2(1), by substituting for the definition of “Commission Decision” the following— | ||
“ ‘Commission Decision’ means Commission Decision 2003/766/EC of 24 October 20032 as amended by Commission Decision 2006/564/EC of 11 August 20063 and Commission Decision 2008/644/EC of 25 July 2008;”. | ||
