Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 21st August, 2012.

I, BRENDAN HOWLIN, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and Other Provisions) Act 2012 (No. 37 of 2012), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and Other Provisions) Act 2012 (Commencement of Section 68(b)) Order 2012.

2. The 1st day of September 2012 is appointed as the day on which paragraph (b) of section 68 of the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and Other Provisions) Act 2012 (No. 37 of 2012) comes into operation.
