S.I. No. 376/2012 - Dormant Accounts (Amendment) Act 2012 (Commencement) Order 2012.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 5th October, 2012.

I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 15 of the Dormant Accounts (Amendment) Act 2012 (No. 23 of 2012), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Dormant Accounts (Amendment) Act 2012 (Commencement) Order 2012.

2. In this Order “Act of 2012” means the Dormant Accounts (Amendment) Act 2012 (No. 23 of 2012).

3. (1) The 26th day of September 2012 is appointed as the day on which the Act of 2012 (other than sections 3, 4 and 13) comes into operation.

(2) The 31st day of December 2012 is appointed as the day on which sections 3, 4 and 13 of the Act of 2012 come into operation.
