I, PAT RABBITTE, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 285A (inserted by
section 46

Finance Act 2008
(No. 3 of 2008)) of the
Taxes Consolidation Act 1997
(No. 39 of 1997), with the approval of, and after consultation with, the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 (Accelerated Capital Allowances for Energy Efficient Equipment) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2012.
|

(2) The collective citation, “the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 (Accelerated Capital Allowances for Energy Efficient Equipment) Orders 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012”, includes this Order.

2. In this Order “Principal Order” means the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997 (Accelerated Capital Allowances for Energy Efficient Equipment) Order 2008 (

The effect of this Order is to update, in accordance with the provisions of section 285A of the
Taxes Consolidation Act 1997
(inserted by
section 46
of the
Finance Act 2008
), those energy efficient products whose capital cost will be eligible for accelerated capital allowances and to update the energy efficiency criteria used to determine eligibility for inclusion on those product lists.
