S.I. No. 494/2012 - Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (First Schedule) (Amendment) Order 2012.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 11th December, 2012.

I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 11 of the Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (No. 6 of 1966) (as adapted by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 455 of 2011 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (First Schedule) (Amendment) Order 2012 and comes into operation on 1 January 2013.

2. The Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (First Schedule) Order 2010 (10) is amended in Part III of the First Schedule, by the insertion after “Bovine Leucosis” of “Bovine Viral Diarrhoea”.
