S.I. No. 194/2015 - Private Security Services Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2015.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 15th May, 2015.

I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Private Security Services Act 2004 (No. 12 of 2004), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Private Security Services Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2015.

2. The 1st day of November 2015 is fixed as the day on which section 37 (as amended by section 13 of the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2011 (No. 23 of 2011)) of the Private Security Services Act 2004 (No. 12 of 2004) comes into operation as respects a private security employer or an independent contractor who provides a security service as a private investigator.
