The Government, on the request of the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2016. | ||
2. The powers (other than the power to prosecute an offence) and duties of the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs conferred on her— | ||
(a) by or under— | ||
(i) the Bourn Vincent Memorial Park Acts 1932 and 2015, | ||
(ii) sections 15 , 16 and 18 of the Wildlife Act 1976 (No. 39 of 1976), and | ||
(iii)(I) the Western Development Commission Act 1998 (No. 42 of 1998), | ||
(II) the Dormant Accounts Act 2001 (No. 32 of 2001), | ||
(III) the Unclaimed Life Assurance Policies Act 2003 (No. 2 of 2003), and | ||
(IV) the Dormant Accounts (Amendment) Act 2012 (No. 23 of 2012), | ||
(b) under section 2 (in so far as it relates to the functions referred to in paragraphs (c) and (f) (in so far as it relates to paragraph (c)) of subsection (1) of that section) of the Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2007 (No. 32 of 2007), and | ||
(c) in relation to the programme, schemes and fund arising out of the performance of the functions referred to in paragraph (b), which are specified in the Schedule, | ||
are delegated to Michael Ring, Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs. | ||
