Warrant required to enter dwelling | ||
59. Upon the sworn information of an authorised officer, a judge of the District Court may, if satisfied that there are reasonable grounds for believing that records relating to the carrying out of a relevant activity are held at a dwelling, issue a warrant authorising a named authorised officer, accompanied by such other authorised officers, officers of customs, or members of the Garda Síochána the judge considers necessary to— | ||
(a) enter the dwelling, (if necessary by the use of reasonable force), | ||
(b) inspect the dwelling, and | ||
(c) exercise all or any of the powers conferred on an authorised officer under this section, section 57 or subsection (1), (2) or (3) of section 58 . |
