S.I. No. 181/2024 - Representative Actions for the Protection of the Collective Interests of Consumers Act 2023 (Commencement) Order 2024

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 3rd May, 2024.

I, PETER BURKE, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Representative Actions for the Protection of the Collective Interests of Consumers Act 2023 (No. 22 of 2023), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Representative Actions for the Protection of the Collective Interests of Consumers Act 2023 (Commencement) Order 2024.

2. The 30th day of April 2024 is appointed as the day on which the Representative Actions for the Protection of the Collective Interests of Consumers Act 2023 (No. 22 of 2023) shall come into operation.
