S.I. No. 285/2024 - Local Government (Mayor of Limerick) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (Commencement) (No. 3) Order 2024

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 14th June, 2024.

I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (3) of the Local Government (Mayor of Limerick) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (No. 7 of 2024), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Mayor of Limerick) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (Commencement) (No. 3) Order 2024.

2. In this order, “Act of 2024” means the Local Government (Mayor of Limerick) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2024 (No. 7 of 2024).

3. The 14th day of June 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Act of 2024 shall come into operation:

(a) section 5;

(b) Schedule 3.

4. The 15th day of July 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Act of 2024 shall come into operation:

(a) section 33;

(b) section 34.
