I, PATRICK O’DONOVAN, Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) (Amendment) Act 2019 (No. 32 of 2019) (as adapted by the Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 451 of 2020 )), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) (Amendment) Act 2019 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2024. | ||
2. The 1st day of September 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) (Amendment) Act 2019 (No. 32 of 2019) shall come into operation: | ||
(a) section 9; | ||
(b) section 14; | ||
(c) section 23; | ||
(d) sections 25 to 33; | ||
(e) section 38. | ||
