I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 6 and 89 of the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 (No. 7 of 1992) and for the purpose of giving further effect to Directive 2010/75/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 20101 , hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Protection Agency (Industrial Emissions) (Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations 2024. | ||
2. Regulation 9 of the Environmental Protection Agency (Industrial Emissions) (Licensing) Regulations 2013 ( S.I. No. 137 of 2013 ) is amended by the insertion of the following paragraph after paragraph (2)(x): | ||
“(2A) Where information supplied in accordance with the requirements provided for in Directive 2011/92/EU2 or a safety report prepared in accordance with Directive 2012/18/EU3 or other information produced in response to other legislation fulfils any of the requirements of paragraph (2), that information may be included in, or attached to, an application for a licence.”. | ||
