S.I. No. 492/2024 - Historic and Archaeological Heritage (Notification of Possession of Records) Regulations 2024

I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 5 and section 159(2) of the Historic and Archaeological Heritage and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2023 (No. 26 of 2023), hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Historic and Archaeological Heritage (Notification of Possession of Records) Regulations 2024. | ||
2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 30th day of September, 2024. | ||
3. A notification to a relevant authority under section 159 (2) of the Historic and Archaeological Heritage and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2023 (No. 26 of 2023) shall be made in the following manner: | ||
(a) by registered post to the address of the head office of the relevant authority, and | ||
(b) by email to the address specified on the website of the relevant authority. | ||
4. A notification referred to in Regulation 3 shall - | ||
(a) be clearly marked “Notification under section 159(2)” by the person making the notification, and | ||
(b) in addition to the matters specified in section 159(2), state any number or other unique identifier which was issued with the new authorisation or old authorisation, as the case may be, where this is known to the person making the notification. | ||
