COPYRIGHT AND RELATED RIGHTS (AMENDMENT) ACT 2026

An Act to amend the Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 to make further provision for the sharing of equitable remuneration as between performers and owners of the copyright in sound recordings; to give further effect to Directive 2006/115/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2006¹ on rental right and lending right and on certain rights related to copyright in the field of intellectual property; and to provide for related matters.
