TRUSTEE SAVINGS BANKS (NO. 2) REGULATIONS, 1968.

I, JOHN LYNCH, acting Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 (c) of the Trustee Savings Banks Act, 1965 (No. 11 of 1965), hereby make the following regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Trustee Savings Banks (No. 2) Regulations, 1968.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1969.

2. The amount of thirty pounds is hereby prescribed as the other amount referred to in section 2 (c) of the Trustee Savings Banks Act, 1965 .

3. The Trustee Savings Banks Regulations, 1968 ( S.I. No. 109 of 1968 ), are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations increase from £20 to £30 the amount which may be paid out of Deposits in a Trustee Savings Bank without reference to the ledger.
