ENTERPRISE, TRADE AND EMPLOYMENT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1997.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1997.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment conferred on the Minister—

( a ) by or under the enactment's specified in the First Schedule to this Order and under any instrument made under any such enactment, and the instruments specified in the Second Schedule to this Order,

( b ) by or under the Industrial Relations Acts, 1946 to 1990 (in so far as they relate to the enforcement of registered employment agreements within the meaning of section 25 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946 (No. 26 of 1946), and orders made under section 43 of that Act and section 48 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1990 (No. 19 of 1990)), and

( c ) by or under the Worker Protection (Regular part-time Employees) Act, 1991 (No. 5 of 1991) (except in so far as it relates to the Maternity Protection of Employees Act, 1981 (No. 2 of 1981)),

are hereby delegated to Tom Kitt, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
