S.I. No. 84/2001 - Foot and Mouth Disease (Restriction of Import of Vehicles, Machinery and Other Equipment) Order, 2001 (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 2001.

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 30 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966) (as adapted by the Agriculture and Food (Alteration of name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1999 ( S.I. No. 307 of 1999 ) hereby order as follows:-

1.     (1)   This Order may be cited as the Foot and Mouth Disease (Restriction of Import of Vehicles, Machinery and other Equipment) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No 84 of 2001 ).

(2)   In this Order, “the Principal Order” means the Foot and Mouth Disease (Restriction of Import of Vehicles, Machinery and other Equipment) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No 51 of 2001 ) as amended by the Foot and Mouth Disease (Restriction of import of vehicles, machinery and other equipment) (Amendment) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No. 69 of 2001 ).

2.            The Principal Order is amended by the insertion after “the Channel Islands” of “, the Isle of Man or France”.

3.            In the Principal Order, “other such equipment” includes tires.
