ELECTRICITY REGULATION ACT 1999 (MARKET ARRANGEMENTS FOR ELECTRICITY) (REVOCATION) REGULATIONS 2006

The Commission for Energy Regulation, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 9(1)(d) of the Electricity Regulation Act 1999 (No. 23 of 1999) (hereinafter referred to as “the 1999 Act”), having taken into account the matters raised in the public consultation process carried out by the Commission under Section 9(1)(b) of the 1999 Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement.

1.     (1)   These Regulations may be cited as the Electricity Regulation Act 1999 (Market Arrangements for Electricity) (Revocation) Regulations 2006.

(2)  These Regulations come into operation on 18 February 2006.

Revocation.

2.     The Electricity Regulation Act 1999 (Market Arrangements for Electricity) Regulations 2003 ( S.I. No. 304 of 2003 ) are revoked.

The Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources consents to the foregoing Regulations.

These Regulations revoke the Electricity Regulation Act 1999 (Market Arrangements for Electricity) Regulations 2003 ( S.I. No. 304 of 2003 ).
