Planning and Development (Strategic Infrastructure) Act 2006 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2006

The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 of the Planning and Development (Strategic Infrastructure) Act 2006 (No. 27 of 2006) hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Planning and Development (Strategic Infrastructure) Act 2006 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2006.

2. In this Order, ‘the Act’ means the Planning and Development (Strategic Infrastructure) Act 2006 .

3. On 5^th November 2006, sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Act shall come into operation.

This Order brings three sections of the Planning and Development (Strategic Infrastructure) Act 2006 into force on 5^th November 2006.

All three sections relate to the appointment of the membership of An Bord Pleanála, and amend sections 104, 106 and 108 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 respectively.
