Industrial Development Act 1995 (Authorisation of Enterprise Ireland) Order, 2006 | ||||||||
I, Micheál Martin, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 10(5)(c) of the Industrial Development Act 1995 , hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Development Act 1995 (Authorisation of Enterprise Ireland) Order, 2006. 2. Enterprise Ireland is authorised to exercise the functions conferred on me by Section 10 of the Industrial Development Act 1995 (as amended by Section 214 of the Finance Act 1999 and as amended by Section 36 of the Industrial Development (Science Foundation Ireland) Act 2003 ) provided that this authorisation does not cover the function set out in subsection 5 (c). 3. Enterprise Ireland shall exercise the functions conferred by this Order in accordance with a scheme made under Section 7(1)(i) of the Industrial Development (Enterprise Ireland) Act, 1998 . | ||||||||

The purpose of this Order is to authorise Enterprise Ireland to carry out certain functions in respect of the County and City Enterprise Boards as directed by the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment. The functions will cover a range of strategic, administrative, financial and technical supports to the thirty-five County and City Enterprise Boards. |
