SOCIAL WELFARE AND PENSIONS ACT 2008 (SECTION 27) (COMMENCEMENT) (No. 2) ORDER 2008 | ||
Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 14th October, 2008. | ||
I, MARY HANAFIN T.D., Minister for Social and Family Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(6) of the Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2008 (No. 2 of 2008) hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2008 (Section 27) (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2008. | ||
2. In this Order “Principal Act” means the Pensions Act 1990 (No. 25 of 1990). | ||
3. The first day of November 2008 is appointed as the day on which section 27 (other than in so far as it relates to the insertion in the Principal Act of section 64P), of the Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2008 (No. 2 of 2008) comes into operation. | ||
4. The Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2008 (Section 27) (Commencement) Order 2008 ( S.I. No. 277 of 2008 ) is hereby revoked. | ||
